Where the River Moves | Lina Choi

Updated: Sep 9

This performance is rooted in ongoing research into the rivers of the Outaouais region, initiated during an artist residency at Centre DAÏMÔN in late winter 2024. Returning for another residency, the artist continues to explore/encounter the temporal and seasonal changes of the waters, from late winter to summer. Through this exploration of the passage of time in rivers, fundamental questions about our relationship with maternal water, birth, existence and the body are posed. This immersive auditory experience captures the dynamic transformations of rivers, inviting the audience to ponder and reflect.
