Twin Flames

Twin Flames are an Indigenous husband-and-wife duo based in Cantley, Quebec. Their exceptional talent and artistry have earned them forty-four music awards and nominations. This includes the prestigious title of four-time Canadian Folk Music Award winners and 2022 Vocal Group of the Year. Audiences will be treated to a showcase of musical magic with thought-provoking stories and ethereal harmonies. Music, comedy, and thought-provoking stories intertwine to create an experience like no other. Their music is both contemplative Folk and unapologetic Rock ‘n’ Roll, which “The Pitch Kansas City” calls “bigger than two people in front of a crowd.” Twin Flames connects audiences from all cultural backgrounds inspiring unity. This is clearly expressed in the song “Human,” which was commissioned by UNESCO and adopted as their official anthem in celebration of the “International Year of Indigenous Languages.” Dedicated to community education, Twin Flames has outreach programs for all ages. Also published authors, their children’s book “Maakusie Loves Music,” is a cornerstone of their elementary school shows.
