Piocheur | Robin-Dimitrije Gosselin-Monasevic

Updated: Aug 5

Piocheur by Robin-Dimitrije Gosselin-Monasevic is a sound piece composed of recordings of bridges in and around the Gatineau sector. This piece attempts to give listeners another dimension to these structures that facilitate our passage over the rivers. "Pioche don Toié" is an echo of the sound piece, and will also be on site, at La filature during Radio-Hull. This time, in the form of a metal structure resembling a piece taken from one of the bridges.

The sculpture features a hand crank with which people can interact and strike the structure, creating sound, giving the power of sound composition to the spectator.

Discover Piocheur, Robin's audio piece by tuning in to our Listening Session #1 on September 12th at 7:00 PM.

Come and activate "Pioche don Toié", Robin's sound sculpture in the Salon des membres during Radio-Hull and the Centre de production DAÏMÔN's opening hours.
