Mouvements libres | Ensemble Tesse

The name Mouvements libres reflects the concert’s emphasis on free-flowing creativity, where musicians navigate open-ended scores and lead the ensemble in a dynamic, choreography-like process. The concert features game pieces by Ofer Pelz such as Téléphone and Soundtracks, where musicians engage with scores inspired by video games and social games. Ensemble Tesse will also present live excerpts from their filmed project Concerti, a unique process where each musician becomes a soloist and leader, guiding the ensemble in a manner akin to choreographic creation. The evening will be rounded out by two solos: Charlotte Layec for clarinet and electronics and Isabel Mundry performed by Audréanne Fillion.

This live performance is presented in collaboration with Québec Musiques Parallèles and Le Vivier.
