Born with Tourette’s Syndrome, he went from having a fear of being limited by his condition to using it to power his dreams. First releasing music professionally in 2018, Mindflip is one of Canada & Quebec’s best kept secrets having amassed more than 50 million streams over the last 5 years with his modern take on 90’s/2000’s style Hip-Hop.
While some may recognize him for songs such as his now Gold-certified single, “Run My Shit”, and fan favourites, “My Fate” & "Fly", Mindflip’s versatility shines through on his Canadian Top 40 radio hits, “Exquisite" and "Never Let You Down” which were produced by JUNO Award-winning, multi-platinum producer Soké of Banx & Ranx (Dua Lipa, Sia, Ty Dolla $ign, Preston Pablo, Reve, Diplo).
On the live side, Mindflip is a natural performer and true entertainer having graced the stages of festivals such as Osheaga, Metro Metro & Carnaval de Québec and opened for artists such as Flo Rida, Method Man & Redman, Loud, Souldia, Fouki, Merkules, and more.
Mindflip has been consistently releasing music this year including “Nouveau Chapitre” with QC Hip-Hop legends, Taktika and tracks from his forthcoming all-collab project entitled, CAD/USD Affairs mixtape that will see him collaborate with various artists from the US. With a new and enhanced headline show coming in October and his participation in this year’s Riverside Festival supporting Sean Paul, Mindflip continues to prove that he deserves to be in the conversation of Canadian artists to watch in 2024 and beyond.
