Michel Côté lives in Chelsea, in the Collines de l'Outaouais region. A poet and visual artist, since 1974 he has published over twenty-five collections of poetry and artist's books with Éditions du Noroît, Éditions Triptyque, Éditions Roselin and URDLA (France). His publications have won numerous awards in Quebec and abroad, and have been translated into Japanese, English, Spanish and German. His works can be found in public and private collections in Canada, France, England, Japan and Switzerland. He has taught philosophy, particularly Chinese thought.
